CSU’s continued effort to reduce class sizes has resulted 16:1
in a 6.5 percent reduction in lower-level class size and
a 7.3 percent reduction in upper-level class size. About student-faculty ratio
62% of undergraduate classes have an enrollment of
fewer than 30 students while about 18% of sections
have an enrollment of 50 or more students. The average
class size for lower-level lectures is 58 while the average
class size for upper-level lectures is 38.*
